Human beings have always found a way to better processes from when time began. Agriculture, resource acquisition, ideologies, and theories are only the iceberg of what we have been able to accomplish so far.

From a more personal perspective, there are new practices that we accept simply because of the lifestyles we live. Furthermore, it relishes this new wave, sweeping into young minds, What I’m I talking about? What the manifestation beliefs in todays society.

Christian View VS World View.

A lifestyle is very personal and therefore points towards the founding principles of the person. If said principles are based on a solid foundation, they will stand. However, a lifestyle that changes regarding what is trending may not have the same luxury. The mind is certainly powerful but it can also be deceived. We fall pray to the mindset we cultivate, to the false sense of security we acquire from tangible things.

Seeking to be our better selves can only be achieved when we are plugged into our Creator. Today’s culture is seeking a new reality outside the Lord. No pillow method, 777, obsession works, or visualization will give you the peace you seek. As believers, sometimes the pressure gets to you. Going a step further to adapt worldly practices because of tangible results. Look at what King David says in Psalm 73

 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

1 Timothy 4:8

The Truth.

One constant that remains the same is the love of the Lord our God. Nothing can separate us from that. Only He has the power of our future because we are from Him. He has released us to do whatever we want and funny enough when we are honest with ourselves, the rabbit hole wasn’t all that it promised to be. The enemy seeks to waste the seasons of our lives when we should be scaling unimaginable levels of power from God.

Promise yourself to lean on the understanding of the Lord and He will guide you.
