No this is not about love and marriage. Ok, maybe it is but that’s just one aspect of it. This is about leaving everything you know for an invisible path. It already sounds out of this world but that’s what it is.
I’m not just a student having trouble in school, nor an under-payed doctor working in a flooded hospital, nor the single widow going against the tide to provide, nor the young man who struggles to know who he is, nor the little girl who is abused at home, nor the disrespected janitor with a minimum wage check. I am more than that. We are more than that and you know it.
I made a decision to change my playlist of secular songs. We know we have them. I had convinced myself that it’s just for fun. So one day I got tired of listening knowing well that I was stagnated. I made a challenge for myself to change my play list. I have felt more closer to God than I have the entire of going to church last year. No pastor or mentor was behind this challenge. This is my testimony.
Christ is looking for His children. People ready to leave the world and be with Him. We are His bride and therefore belong with Him. The more we are able to detach ourselves from the constant rat race of life is when we can truly see the bigger picture; a loving victorious relationship1. Not just because we go to church or follow people blindly, it’s because we are able to decipher God’s truth on our own effort while the Holy Spirit guides us.
In this light one thing I truly understood, is that my righteousness is never enough2. I thought having a good streak could justify a wrong. No matter all the good you do, it’s like filthy rags if you don’t come to Him like a child, like a humble sheep covered in the shepherds blood. Because God only recognizes the blood of Christ. Come into his courts with Thanksgiving and with praise3. Cleaving to him is saying that I don’t care of worldly possessions or what people think of me or when the next rent will be paid or when my baby will be healed or when the fees will come in; because, as long as I have You I have everything I need.
That is the God you serve. Remember, you are steadfast4, courageous5, blessed6, powerful7 and loved8. Leave, cleave and enjoy the presence of the lord, it’s where you are meant to be.

Nice! Indeed the journey of faith is daunting to the one who is attached to this world. Christ beckons us to take the lonely difficult path. Incidentally that is how He describes the way of life. But then, when you decide to leave behind everything for the excellency of Christ, the Lord grants such peace to our buffeted hearts and causes us to experience joy in His awesome presence. Hillsong’ s rendition of “I have decided to follow Jesus ….no turning back” has been playing over and over on my digital media, and your encouraging article has come just in time to hammer in some great truth nuggets.
Long live The Way to Become!
God bless.
Thanks so much Dad ๐ It’s true that the joy He gives, the world cannot give nor take away. A certain certainty of knowing Christ is walking with you as you fellowship with Him can only be comprehended. I’m glad you enjoyed the article and the website as a whole. God bless๐
